With the current train schedule we often end up with 3 night gaps where some of our cabins and suites are empty. This is a problem for us. Besides being lonely, it is better for business if we have our cabins and suites full. These gaps generally happen Thursday to Sunday but can be other days of the week as well.

To encourage you to fill in these gaps for us we are offering you a $100/person discount.

There are 2 ways you can get to our resort to take advantage of our FOG Discount.

• Float plane out of Hawk Junction or Sault Ste Marie. You can drive to Hawk Junction or Sault Ste Marie on the Trans Canada Highway 17 which connects to the US I75 at Sault Ste Marie.
• Train out of Hearst which you can connect to from Toronto via the Ontario Northland train and bus service, or drive toHearst on Highway 11. More info on Trains from Toronto and Southern Ontario.

Below are the current dates available for our FOG (Fill Our Gaps) vacation discount. The FOG vacation discount can only be used for the dates and accommodations specified below and cannot be applied to longer vacations or vacations at other times:

You have a choice of staying in either our cabins or suites during your stay. Our cabins are more secluded. Our suites are close to the lodge, recreation and service areas. Here are some pictures and more information about our Wilderness Island Resort suites and cottages.

Cottages - Our secluded cabins are very comfortably situated in scenic secluded surroundings. Each 1, 2, or 3 bedroom cottage has a 3 or 4 piece bathroom, large living room, full kitchen/dining room. Lake Wabatogushi is right outside the front door and each cabin has its own private dock. You have a choice of 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed per bedroom. Suites - We have 6 suites adjacent to our lodge. Each suite consists of a bedroom with 2 twin beds or 1 king size bed, a 4 piece bathroom, a living room with a refrigerator and coffee center. Suite availability
