There is nothing like a shore lunch of fresh Walleye, Perch or Northern Pike, from clean Canadian lakes, cooked over an open fire on a secluded island looking out over a picturesque lake and scenery of the rugged hills of the Canadian Shield. The sights, the smells of fresh fish and wood smoke aroma, loons swimming by and calling there haunting song. This is the ultimate in Canadian experiences.
Shore Lunches are prepared by our experienced shore lunch cooks, Lori and Vern. Each day we choose one of the many picturesque islands where Lori or Vern build a crackling fire; and clean and prepare your freshly caught fish with seasoned potatoe wedges, sauteed onions, traditional bannock, and home made baked beans.
Lori and Vern set up your shore lunch to be comfortable and almost semi-elegant in a wilderness sort of way for your outdoor dining. Comfortable chairs, tables with table cloths, a gentle breeze and the aroma of wood smoke whet your appetite for this ultimate of outdoor experiences.
Shore lunches are included on our American Plan (Full Meal) packages, or can be provided a-la-carte on your housekeeping or dinner plan packages for $25/person or $15/child under 13. If unable to eat fish just let us know and we will provide an alternative entre.
