Nature & Wildlife Tours
by Pontoon Boat
 Moose, Bear,
Loons, Eagles...In the Chapleau Wildlife Preserve a 3,000 square
mile/7000 square kilometre wildlife preserve that completely encompasses
Lake Wabatongushi the 10,000 acre/4,000 Hectare Lake home to our
Wilderness Island.
Explore the nature and
wildlife of Canada's northern Boreal Wilderness on our comfortable
pontoon boat with our knowledgeable guides. See, photograph and
learn about the Wildlife of Northern Ontario Canada. Loon, Bald
Eagle, Black Bear, Moose, Beaver, Great Blue Heron, Osprey, King
Fisher and many diverse waterfowl sightings are common. We also
sometimes see Lynx, Mink, Otter, Muskrat and very occasionally
Timber Wolf although they do not like going close to the water.
We also talk with you
about the animals, their role in the ecosystem, their relationship
with other animals and our relationship with the various animals
as well as how various animals and the ecosystem are affected
by human changes to the ecosystem both positive and negative.
We will answer your questions about our local ecosystem, wildlife
and nature to the best of our ability based on decades of living
close to and observing wildlife and nature.
