the Ontario Northlander Passenger Train from Toronto's Union
Station and be at our resort by noon the next day!(You can also board the train north of Toronto at Washago, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, South River and North Bay) Ontario Northland's passenger train connects Southern Ontario to Northern Ontario. Although Ontario Northland Train only goes as far as Cochrane, they run a bus schuttle from Cochrane to Hearst where you can board the Algoma Central Railway. Ontario Northland Transportation provides this service as one ticket right from Toronto's Union Station all the way to Hearst. You spend the night in Hearst at one of the hotels then board the Algoma Central Railway Passenger Train the next morning which will bring you to Wabatongushi Lake at about 11:00 am where I will be waiting for you. Because the Algoma Central Railway passenger train only runs 3 day per week and the Ontario Northland Passenger Train only runs each day except Saturday, you should plan your arrival and departure for specific days. Passenger Train Toronto to Hearst
www.ontarionorthland.ca/PassengerRail/NewNorthlander/NLHome.htm Take the Ontario Northland Passenger Train from Toronto's Union Station. Purchase the ticket for Hearst so the bus shuttle is included. (You can also take the train from any of the other stops along the Ontario Northland Train Route) The Ontario Northland Passenger Train is scheduled to leave Toronto's Union Station at 8:40 am, get to Cochrane at about 7:25 pm, and the bus shuttle is scheduled to get you to Hearst at about 10:15 pm. On the way back, the bus shuttle leaves Hearst at 4:30 am for Cochrane and the Ontario Northland Passenger Train is scheduled to leave Cochrane at 8:00 am and arrive in Cochrane at 7:30 pm. You are best to eat you meals in the Ontario Northland Passenger train's dining car anywhere between Toronto and Cochrane. Buy your ticket at the Ontario Northland Ticket counter in Union Station.
