Passports for crossing US-Canada Border?

Passport Requirement to enter or re-enter US has been delayed until January 1, 2008. The US Government has also now decided to create a less expensive PASS (People Access Security Service) Card, which can be used instead of a Passport for people entering the US by vehicle after January 1, 2008.

Food or Groceries

When travelling to another country, including Canada, there are restrictions on the amount of food and types of food, you can cross the border with. Our best advice is regarding bringing food into Canada is, "If in doubt, don't bring it". Here is a link to information on food you can bring into Canada.

There are good quality, competive grocery stores in Canada. In Sault Ste Marie we reccommend Romes Independant Grocer and Great Northern A&P. In Wawa we recommend Wawa Value Mart. These grocery stores have competitive prices, good service and are conveniently located.
