Aldona Mitrikas (Superior Living Consulting) and Leona Leroux (Michipicoten First Nation) will guide you on a step-by-step natural wellness and native healing program in this picturesque secluded wilderness setting that is truly away-from-it-all. This 5 Day/6 Night wilderness retreat includes group sessions for health and wellness teachings, individual sessions of Therapeutic Touch, Integrated Energy Therapy, Reiki, Medicine Wheel teachings, and guided nature walks and tours. Meals, accommodations, wellness program and train fares all included.

Wilderness Wellness Retreat Package Cost:

• $1950/person ­ double occupancy (tax & gratuities not included)
• Single person can be allocated a "roomy" to retain double occupancy rate.
• Another person can accompany our wellness guest and not be on the wellness package. The second person would be able to relax, fish, go adventuring and would be provided with accommodations, meals and use of boats, canoes, kayaks and all resort facilities. Cost for a person not on the wellness retreat package is $1290 + taxes & train fare.
• Single occupancy adds $700 (tax & gratuities not included).

Aldona Mitrikas spent many years as a counselor in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada. She worked as a medical social worker initially. Then she moved on to doing long- term therapy at the women's shelter and sexual assault centre. As a therapist Aldona honed her skills by working with trauma, addiction, dissociative identity disorder, depression and anxiety. While working with this client population she realized "talk therapy" was not the answer for every one. She added energy skills in Therapeutic Touch and Thought Field Therapy to her repertoire of healing tools. This was extremely helpful to many who struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. With years of observation she noted that many people with unresolved emotions seemed to have chronic pain or illness such as fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, migraines and so on. Over time, Aldona became convinced there was definitely a connection between unresolved emotion, stress and illness. Today as a holistic therapist, Aldona works with the whole person addressing the eco-system of mind, body, emotion, energy/spirit when working with a client. Aldona Mitrikas brings to her healing work experience, energy and intuition to help you relax, revitalize and reconnect. In the summer of 2002 Aldona left agency counselling work, entering into private practice as a holistic therapist. Offering individual counselling and workshops, Mitrikas Life Works, operated out of Sault Ste. Marie. In December 2004 Aldona moved to Wawa and continues to offer her services to the north as Superior Living Consulting. Leona Leroux has a Native Ojibway background and lives on Michipicoten First Nation. Her house has a beautiful view of Lake Superior. Leona also has a background in Social Services(10 years in the field) and enjoys teaching about her Aboriginal culture. Leona Leroux has been practicing and researching Reiki since 1996. She is a practitioner, teacher and Master of Reiki.
