at our secluded Canadian wilderness vacation lodge and resort in Ontario Canada and enjoy great walleye fishing and northern pike fishing, wildlife viewing, bird watching, wilderness adventure tours and travel and just plain relaxing. Our remote Canadian resort and lodge, has very comfortable accommodations and great meals. We are accessible by the Algoma Central Railway's wilderness passenger train or by float plane. Wilderness Island Resort is a perfect place for an exciting family holiday in the wilderness, Canadaian fishing vacation adventure with friends, romantic getaway, refreshing nature retreat, or just quietly relaxing away from civilization.

We are on a remote island on Lake Wabatongushi in Northern Ontario Canada, a 10,000 acre/3,000 hectare lake with great fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike, in the South West corner of the Chapleau Game Preserve, a 3,000 square mile/7,000 square kilometer wildlife sanctuary with abundant opportunities to see moose, black bear, loons, bald eagles and many boreal forest birds. Our housekeeping, housekeeping with dinners, and American plan packages are provided complete with wood fishing boats and electric start outboard motors, and full use of the resort facilities such as canoes and kayaks, swimming areas, nature trails etc.
We also package a 2 day wilderness train tour featuring Agawa Canyon, an overnight stay at our resort, and pontoon boat tours for wildlife photography and nature viewing.

**Passports are not needed to enter Canada**
There is no requirement for US citizens to show passport to enter Canada. Passport Requirement to enter or re-enter US, have been delayed until January 1, 2008 by land and January 1, 2007 by plane or boat. The US Government has also now decided to create a less expensive PASS (People Access Security Service) Card, which can be used instead of a Passport for people entering the US by vehicle after January 1, 2008.
